I am currently living and working in Nashville, TN. I have pursued visual arts all my life and have focused my artistic energies on photography
for the last 8 years and have settled on a relatively old fashioned working style. I shoot the majority of my work in the 4x5 format. This large format produces
a negative that is 4 inches by 5 inches and allows for exacting control over the initial image, increased enlargement capabilities, and detail enhancement,
in even the largest prints. I process all of my own negatives. My black and white photographs are all hand printed by myself in my conventional
darkroom. I have decided on these methods in order to produce the most exacting expression of my initial intentions for each image. I still feel
that current digital technologies can not yet capture the feel of a handmade black and white print.
